As production manager, Joe, who joined our team “three wondrous years ago,” ensures that the coffee created by our expert roasters gets packaged properly and sent to “our amazing customers.” Outside of work, this Portland, Maine, native (“to be able to work and live in my hometown is really special!”) has his hands full, caring for his two small children.

How he likes his coffee: I love an iced coffee with oat milk. Personally, I think that makes me cool, hip, and modern. ; )

His favorite Coffee By Design coffee: I have always enjoyed Rebel Blend, for the cause and, of course, the flavor.

His favorite writer: Henry David Thoreau, because he believed in abandoning waste and illusion in order to discover life's true essential needs.

His favorite brewing method: Cold brew to the nth degree!
