A book launch and conversation with artist Tim McCreight and author Abby Johnston

"Marks of a Maker" is Abby Johnston’s insightful portrait of master jeweler Tim McCreight. Both author and artist will be on hand to discuss the book and answer questions.

Abby is a former student of Tim McCreight and with her book she shines a compelling light on this influential maker and educator in the field of jewelry. More than a
biography, the book is an object lesson on how one maker can leave a lasting
and meaningful impression on the world.

Tim McCreight is a metalsmith, jeweler, writer, publisher, educator. Abby shares that as an educator, he is generous, kind, and community-minded.

"Tim's work has influenced many and unlocked skills and perspectives for
countless students and other makers and that’s why I support this book project
by Abby Johnston."-- Lynn Brunelle, Emmy Award-winning writer of Bill Nye the Science Guy and best-selling author specializing in STEAM and nonfiction

Abby Johnston is a certified sound therapist, trained metalsmith, discerning dabbler, and a curious soul who has a deep love of storytelling.
